Oxalis is 10! I can hardly contain my excitement and gratitude! What began as a passion project in my Brooklyn kitchen in 2015 has grown into a decade of effective, botanical, joy-centered skincare, now crafted by our small, dedicated team in New Orleans.
What a journey it's been! From local markets in NYC, Chicago, Nashville and Austin, those early days were exciting. With support from retailers like Anthropology, Neiman Marcus and Whole Foods — along with features in the New York Times, Southern Living, and Well+Good — we've certainly grown, but we've never strayed from the core tenets of our business.
This milestone si really about YOU — our thoughtful, values-driven community who honors their skincare rituals and chooses to support small businesses. It's a joy and privilege to share my creations with you in your most intimate daily moments.

Meet our founder, erin
Erin Wexstten hails from a small town in southern Illinois, where she spent her childhood surrounded by the sounds, scents, and beauty of nature. Growing up in the woods, her imagination ran wild, discovering hidden wonders and getting lost in the simple joy of exploring. As a kid, she'd often bring home wild oxalis, convinced they were rare four-leaf clovers — an early sign of her deep curiosity and love for the natural world. These fond memories of discovery and wonder continue to inspire everything she creates, with honesty and transparency at the heart of OXALIS.
Erin is certified in Organic Body Care Products from the School for Herbal and Aromatic Studies, which is accredited by the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from the University of Cincinnati's renowned DAAP program. With over a decade of experience in the fashion industry across NYC, San Francisco, and Minneapolis, Erin's creativity and passion for sustainable practices have shaped her approach to creating clean, effective skincare products.
